PLOT
In the Kingdom of Midland, a lone mercenary named Guts roams the land, drawn to conflict over a peaceful existence. Armed with a massive sword that dwarfs him, he faces overwhelming odds and emerges victorious against every foe. One fateful day, Griffith, the enigmatic leader of the Band of the Hawk mercenary group, observes Guts's impressive skills and invites him to join his ranks. Guts, refusing the offer, challenges Griffith to a duel but is unexpectedly defeated, forcing him to align with the Band of the Hawk. Now, Guts must fight alongside Griffith and his comrades to help Midland conquer the Empire of Chuder. Yet, as Guts becomes embroiled in the battles ahead, he begins to suspect that Griffith harbors grander ambitions beyond mere victory in war, leading them down a path fraught with peril and intrigue.
