PLOT
In the winter of 1995, Mikiya Kokutou encounters a mysterious young woman named Shiki Ryougi while on a late-night walk in the snow. Dressed in a striking white kimono and possessing an enigmatic aura, Shiki captivates Mikiya's attention. As spring arrives, he spots her again at his high school entrance ceremony, leading to a budding friendship marked by lunchtime conversations where Shiki gradually reveals her unusual background. However, the peaceful atmosphere is shattered by a series of brutal murders occurring in Mifune City, which trigger a significant police investigation. With his cousin involved in the case, Mikiya gains insider information about the disturbing events. Concerned for Shiki's well-being, he begins to keep a close eye on her.
