PLOT
The story will center on the encounter between 10-year-old Sam Wing and Gizmo, a baby Mogwai. Sam and Gizmo embark on a treacherous journey across the Chinese countryside with a young street pickpocket named Elle. Along the way, they come across and occasionally engage in combat with colorful monsters and spirits from Chinese legend. A ruthless industrialist and his escalating force of evil Gremlins are after them as they attempt to bring Gizmo back to his family and find a legendary treasure.
