PLOT
The demon king Anos Voldigoad struck a contract with the human hero Kanon to give his life in order for peace to prevail after 2,000 years of unending battles and conflict. Upon reincarnating 2,000 years later, Anos discovers that the society favours his pureblood descendants over the demons that interbred with other species, such as humans and spirits, and that royal demons now severely rule over lower class hybrid demons. Anos, who is now technically a hybrid himself, discovers that magic as a whole has started to wane and that his descendants have grown weaker as a result of the peace he established. He then attempts to recover his former rank. He must, however, first pass the Demon King Academy, where he is regarded as a complete outcast.
