PLOT
In the late 19th century, Wisteria is a young orphan living in a secluded part of the British Empire. Her life is bleak and filled with loneliness until she encounters Marbas, an immortal creature with a furry appearance who, despite his strength, is also isolated and hunted by others. Wisteria and Marbas then embark on a journey across the Empire, inhabited by both humans and human-like beasts, searching for a place where they can live together in peace.
