PLOT
On Terra, technological advancement has accelerated due to the discovery of a black crystalline material called Originium, which has a high energy yield that allows humans to wield powers known as Arts, resembling magic. Large veins of Originium can be found naturally at sites of Catastrophes, where various types of natural disasters are triggered by the material itself. However, using Originium has a cost because there is a significant chance of contracting Oripathy, an extremely contagious and incurable disease. Nations punish the afflicted severely, which leads the oppressed to start a dissident movement. The rebel group, going by the name Reunion, ruthlessly ruins cities, adding to the already catastrophic character of Catastrophes.
