PLOT

Thunder rumbles and the heavens tremble as Xie Lian returns with an apologetic smile. Once the Crown Prince of Xianle and a beloved martial deity eight hundred years ago, he now ascends to the heavenly kingdom for the third time—not as a revered figure, but as a wretched god who collects scraps without any followers. Xie Lian is left all by himself in the pitch-black, moonlight night of his first expedition. A kind man in red leads him through the jungle there. The man, however, vanishes as swiftly as he emerged, turning into a swarm of silver butterflies.
