PLOT
Reki Kyan, a high school student passionate about skateboarding, finds himself drawn to "S," an illegal underground competition where skaters risk everything in a mine. After suffering a defeat that leaves his arm injured and his skateboard in ruins, Reki is unable to practice. While at work, Reki meets Langa Hasegawa, a new classmate of half Canadian and half Japanese descent who has never skateboarded before. Langa is in urgent need of money. When they visit "S" together at the suggestion of Reki's boss, they quickly get into trouble and are forced into a wager that requires Langa to race. Unbeknownst to Reki, Langa holds a secret advantage that could lead them to victory in the most surprising way.
