PLOT
At her mother's urging, Suletta Mercury leaves her home planet to attend the Asticassia School of Technology. The school uses student duels to settle disputes, with the victor earning Miorine Rembran as their fiancée—a prize arranged by Miorine's father. Guel Jeturk, the best pilot in the class and Miorine's current fiancé, insists that she return home with him. When Suletta disagrees, Guel confronts her. Although she wins the duel, her victory is short-lived as she is later arrested on suspicion of using a GUND-ARM, a forbidden type of mobile suit known as a "Gundam."
