PLOT

Since the release of the groundbreaking NerveGear, gamers worldwide have been able to experience an entirely immersive virtual reality. One of the newest games, Sword Art Online (SAO), transports players to the vibrant world of Aincrad, a colorful medieval realm where their creativity knows no bounds. This global phenomenon has made gaming feel more real than ever. However, the excitement quickly turns into a nightmare when the game's creator traps hundreds of players inside SAO. With the "log-out" function disabled, the only way to escape is to conquer all one hundred increasingly difficult levels of Aincrad. The stakes are raised even higher, as dying in the game results in permanent death in the real world.
