PLOT

On a planet infused with Astral power, controlled by astral mages, the "Empire" oppresses those who can wield this energy, fearing its potential for destruction. In response, persecuted mages formed the Nebulis Sovereignty, leading to a century-long conflict between the two factions. Iska, a skilled knight, finds himself imprisoned for the grave offense of liberating a witch. After a year of confinement, the Empire's officials unexpectedly release him, tasking him with locating the formidable "Ice Calamity Witch." Iska agrees, hoping to end the war. Meanwhile, Aliceliese "Alice" Lou Nebulis XI, the Ice Calamity Witch, shares his desire for peace and is determined to challenge the Empire's tyranny. Their paths converge as they both seek to end the bloodshed, albeit with different methods and motivations.
