PLOT
A race of organic beings with human-like characteristics known as GoBeings lived on the planet GoBotron in the Proxima System thousands of years ago, according to the series' history. When the ruthless terrorist organization known as the Renegades emerged, commanded by a lunatic known as "Stron-Domez the Master Renegade," who waged war against the pacifist Guardians, civil war broke out on the planet. The massive asteroid that accidentally collided into GoBotron as a result of a Renegade sabotage operation caused a series of natural disasters that brought the GoBeings to the brink of extinction. Ex-El the Last Engineer, a brilliant scientist who saved his people by going to extreme lengths to replace parts of his own body with mechanical replicas, transferred the essences of the GoBeings into massive cyborgs known as GoRobotic Machine Men, GoBotic Machines, or GoBots.
