PLOT
Betty Barrett, a regular 12-year-old girl who lives in Moose Jaw Heights (a made-up neighborhood of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan), likes school, sci-fi movies, dreams about living in space, and singing in her band. She is a part of the Galactic Guardians, an elite group devoted to interstellar crime-fighting and law enforcement, but her friends and family are completely unaware of this. She fights the villainous overlord Maximus I.Q. and his servant Minimus, as well as other cosmic supervillains, criminals, terrorists, and gangsters, as "Atomic Betty" with the help of her two companions, the extraterrestrial pilot Sparky and a robot named X-5. Atomic Betty, who appears relatively humble on Earth, is a superstar throughout the galaxy and even has a following of followers who look up to her.
