PLOT

Hardcore skaters from Okinawa compete in a clandestine, no-holds-barred event known as "S" after midnight. They race each other on skateboards down a twisting path made from an abandoned mine, occasionally developing rivalries known as "beefs" with one another. One night, Reki, a high school sophomore and avid skater, drags incoming transfer student Langa to S and forces him into the skating community.
