Ai Ooto is left adjusting to her new reality when Koito Nagase, her best and only friend, committed suicide. With nothing left to live for, she heeds the advice of an enigmatic being and is persuaded to buy an egg—more precisely, a Wonder Egg. Ai is tasked with rescuing individuals from the difficulties they face after breaking the egg in a world that appears while she is sleeping. She thinks that by doing this, she has made progress toward saving her dearest buddy. Ai enters a situation where she must understand the connection between other people's demons and her own, holding this risky yet alluring possibility in her hands. A little girl learns about the various internal problems afflicting humanity and saves them from their deepest nightmares as past pain, irreplaceable regrets, and innate anxieties hatch in the weird world of Wonder Egg Priority.
