PLOT
For the benefit of humanity, the genius Dr. Azuma built numerous robots. The programming of one of his robots, BK-1, was corrupted when lightning struck his lab during a rainstorm, and now he calls himself Braiking Boss and says that instead of serving people, people will now serve him! He assembles other robots into a powerful army that is out to subjugate the human race. Dr. Azuma's son Tetsuya requests that his father make him into an invincible android so that he can eliminate the danger that his father unintentionally brought about. Braiking Boss soon after captures Dr. Azuma and his wife. With the aid of his girlfriend Luna and robot dog Friender, Tetsuya, now going by the name Casshern, aims to stop the war and save his parents.
