PLOT
Formerly a well-known soccer star on the national stage, Tatsuya Yoigoshi is now a freshman at Noukin High School. He has given up on his former ambitions to become a well-known livestreamer on the internet because of his newly discovered loathing for sports. One day, Yoigoshi's livestream is abruptly interrupted by Souma Azemichi, a first-year player on the kabaddi squad, who is trying to recruit him. Yoigoshi follows Souma to the school gym without any expectations and finds second-years Kyouhei Misumi and Shinji Date playing kabaddi, a primitive contact sport. Yoigoshi mocks the game's rules but is nevertheless taken aback by how intense the round is. Due to a tempting offer and some mild persuasion, he consents to settle the possibility of his recruitment in the most exciting manner possible: a match of kabbadi, a team sport played with no weapons.
