PLOT
Taking place in ancient China's Qin Dynasty, the assassin makes a valiant attempt to kill the Emperor in order to defend his motherland. The assassin is unsuccessful, so the Emperor sends his army to kill his eight-year-old son as retribution. A master swordsman steps in and saves the youngster. After escaping the Emperor's armies, they set off on a mission to alter the course of the empire, running across both allies and enemies along the road.
