PLOT
"Million Doll" is a music, idol-themed anime series that aired in 2015. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Ai. The story revolves around Suuko, an introverted girl who has the ability to make any idol popular through her blog. She adores the idol lifestyle and is particularly passionate about a minor idol group called "Itorio." When she discovers that a major idol group, "Shin Oonishi," threatens Itorio's place in the spotlight, she is determined to protect her favorite group and uses her blogging influence to help them. Meanwhile, the series also introduces Ryuu-san, a male idol otaku who prefers underground idols, and Mariko, an upper-class woman who becomes an idol to validate her existence.
