PLOT
The narrative takes place in fabled China. Emperor Zhou and the Yin (, In) dynasty are under the dominion of a stunning female fox spirit by the name of Daji, who uses her influence over him to harm the country. The great immortal sages select Taigong Wang, an immortal-in-training, for the Hshin Project, which aims to exterminate or seal away the wicked demons that plague the planet. Taigong Wang embarks on his adventures with a group of strong allies, seals the demons, and eventually kills the fox spirit Daji. The manga series, the animated adaptations, and the novel all have very different plots.
