PLOT
A fresh cast of characters appear in Beast Wars II, which is set many years in the future and takes place on the planet Gaia, a post-apocalyptic version of Earth. In order to stop the Destrons, commanded by Galvatron, from consuming the planet's abundant energy supply known as Angolmois, the Cybertrons, lead by Lio Convoy, are sent to the planet to study a strange change in the planet's behavior.
