Fuzors takes place on Planet Zi, like the other Zoids anime, however there don't seem to be any overt references to any of the earlier shows. Despite the fact that it isn't stated officially, it is commonly accepted that Fuzors occurs in its own continuity. Although there are many inconsistencies in the plot, the Fuzors model line places it in the same time period as the three tigers, suggesting that it may be related to the Zoids war story.
