PLOT
In the year 2356 AD, around 189 years have passed since a global catastrophe that killed 10% of Earth's inhabitants. Humanity has constructed multiple enormous space stations, referred to as "foundations," all around the Solar System in order to keep tabs on all space activity. Shima Katase leaves the Earth-based foundation Stellvia after clearing the admission examinations for the Space Academy in order to pursue her aspirations of seeing the cosmos and stop future galactic disasters from obliterating Earth forever.
