PLOT
The connection between ex-delinquent Eiji Busujima and Nanako Yukishiro, a girl who can only communicate through senry written on tanzaku, is the main subject of the novel. [4] Through their senryu, the novel explores how they view daily life differently. When read in order, the majority of chapters are made up of a collection of yonkomas, with a few more conventional pages thrown in.
