In a near-future alternate reality, human society is formed and technology is developed using the materials present in human brains. These chemicals also give people supersensory abilities. In order to defend humanity from the Others, a race of mindless mutants that have descended from the Extinction Belt, the Other Suppression Force (OSF) seeks out members with paranormal talents.
