PLOT
Yoshino Koharu, a young woman, has been unsuccessful in finding employment in Tokyo. She does, however, seem to get lucky when she is given the opportunity to work as the "Queen" of the ailing Manoyama village's tourism board. Yoshino is left with little choice but to accept the offer, so she leaves for Manoyama only to discover that she was mistakenly recruited and that her contract's term is actually one year, not only one day, as she had originally believed. Yoshino unwillingly accepts the position of Queen of Manoyama due to lack of options.
