PLOT
The story opens with Shuji, a high school student in a seaside Hokkaid city, strolling up to an observatory and daydreaming about Chise; there, he discovers her exchange diaries that she purposely left behind. Shuji reads Chise's diary and uses flashbacks to tell the rest of the story. At the start of the series, Chise, a classmate of his, professes her love for Shuji. Shuji is insensitive and Chise is extremely bashful, yet despite their differences, they do in fact have feelings for one another.
