PLOT
The Shinjuku Ward Office's Nighttime Regional Relations Department has just accepted Miyako Arata as a new employee. One such department, created to lessen paranormal and occult-related phenomena, exists in each of Tokyo's 23 wards. Arata has the ability to interpret non-human speech, and the story opens with him coming across a youkai who refers to him as the fabled exorcist from the Heian era, Abe no Seimei, in Shinjuku Gyoen park.
