PLOT
A junior high school student named Yta Togashi suffered from "chniby" during the time, dubbing himself the "Dark Flame Master," believing he had supernatural abilities, and isolating himself from his peers as a result. Yta tries to start high school where he knows no one, away from his old illusions, because he finds his history embarrassing. However, this turns out to be challenging because Rikka Takanashi, a deluded student in his class, becomes intrigued by Yta after finding out about his history.
