PLOT
Thirteen years after Brandon Heat is slain by his best friend Harry MacDowell in a betrayal, Gungrave debuts. Through the process of necrolyzation, he is reincarnated as Beyond The Grave, and he sets out on a journey for vengeance against the criminal organization. The show then goes back to Brandon's early years and follows Harry and him as they ascend through the criminal underworld, describing the events that eventually caused them to fall out.
