The regulations of Gunpla have been updated seven years after the events of Gundam Build Fighters, and the sport is now even more well-liked. One academy, Seiho Academy, which Sei Iori once attended, was left behind in this move, though. Fumina Hoshino, the sole survivor of the Gunpla Battle Club, teams up with teenage Gunpla constructor Yuuma Kousaka and Sekai Kamiki, a child who has been practicing martial arts with his teacher, in an effort to qualify for the world championship as the "Try Fighters" (, Torai Faitzu).
