PLOT
Lanky swordsman Van is scouring the desert in quest of the enigmatic clawed man who killed his bride. He is armed with a metal sash that can be straightened into a sword. Along the way, he meets Wendy, a little girl whose town he defends against thieves by conjuring a mecha with his sword. With his engraved rifle on her back, Wendy is looking for her missing elder brother. They encounter more bandits and villains, a mystery woman dubbed Carmen99, and more Wild West-style mecha combat while pursuing their shared goal.
