Announcements of a renowned underworld tournament returning after a long break have spread across the criminal underworld. This underworld competition, also known as the Battle Arena Toshinden, features weapons fighting and is aired as bloodsport entertainment for a select audience. Eight deserving challengers from around the world have been chosen by the Secret Society, a mysterious organization that goes by the name of the Secret Society and is thought to be connected to the Gerard Foundation, a major multinational conglomerate, to compete for a prize of fortune, fame, and glory.
