PLOT
On a Nebraska farm, a family of mice lives quietly, including young Max. While Max was out collecting corn, exterminators arrived to rid the house of the mice. From a distance, Max saw the exterminators and rushed back, only to witness the tragic death of his entire family. In a final moment, his mother urged him to flee to Washington D.C., where he could find his cousin Berkeley. When Max arrived in the capital, he met a rat named Jammett, who lived with Berkeley in the White House basement. After reuniting with his cousin, Max also encountered Muggle, a former lab rat, and Jammett's mother Trixie, who kindly let Max stay in Jammett’s room.
