PLOT

Charlie Brown's team, after a disastrous 123-0 loss, quits in frustration. Charlie Brown, feeling down, wanders off until Linus finds him and shares exciting news: Mr. Hennessey, a local hardware store owner, wants to sponsor Charlie Brown's team, enter them in a league, and even provide new uniforms. As Linus inflates a pool, Charlie Brown's sister, Sally, appears in a swimsuit.
