PLOT

George Beard and Harold Hutchins, two mischievous fourth-graders, attend Jerome Horwitz Elementary School in Piqua, Ohio. They often prank their cruel teachers, especially Principal Benny Krupp, which angers him. The boys also create comic books about a superhero named Captain Underpants, which they sell to their classmates. After a prank involving a toilet invention backfires, Principal Krupp decides to separate the boys and ruin their friendship.
