PLOT

On Oa, the headquarters of the intergalactic police force, the Green Lantern Corps, the Guardians of the Universe detect alarming signs of the feared villain, Krona, approaching to destroy the planet. As the Guardians prepare to evacuate, Green Lantern Hal Jordan assists the uncertain new recruit, Arisia, by sharing stories of fellow Lanterns and their challenges. Through these tales, we witness the adventures of Avra the first Lantern, Princess Laira, Kilowog, the unsociable Mogo, and Jordan's predecessor, Abin Sur. When Krona arrives, these stories prove invaluable as Arisia finds a special inspiration in them.
