PLOT

Xiao-Bai, a white snake demon, is sent to kill a Taoist advisor who is killing snakes. She is attacked and defeated, but her hairpin saves her life. She wakes up in a village and meets Xu Xuan, who saved her. They embark on a journey to discover her identity and the secret of her hairpin. Xiao-Bai's sister, Xiao-Qing, pursues them to retrieve her for the Snake Mother. A story of forbidden love unfolds as humans, demons, and Taoists clash.
