Okko's Inn is a story about Oriko "Okko" Seki, a young girl who is forced to live at her grandmother's traditional hot springs inn after her parents tragically die in a car accident. Initially reluctant, Okko soon discovers the inn is inhabited by the ghost of a barefoot child who encourages her to follow in her grandmother's footsteps. Despite struggling with the responsibilities of running the inn, Okko strives to honor her parents' belief in providing a welcoming space for everyone. As she explores the village, she encounters other spirits and realizes that even though her parents are gone, she is not alone.
