PLOT
Following a crushing defeat to Kainan High, Team Shohoku, along with a newly shaven Hanamichi Sakuragi, is invited to an exhibition match by the relatively unknown Ryoukufu High. Coach Anzai views this as a chance for Shohoku to rebuild their confidence. However, Ryoukufu turns out to have a newly formed championship-caliber team, posing a significant challenge for Sakuragi and his teammates.
