Jim rowed out to the Hispaniola and cut the anchor lines. The ship drifts off as planned, but then hits a reef. The drunken pirates on board realize that something is wrong, but because of the dense fog they cannot tell whether the ship has drifted away or not. They get into a heated argument, one after the other going insane, and they all end up killing each other. Meanwhile, Captain Silver has a bad feeling and rows over to the ship despite an approaching thunderstorm. Jim, who doesn't know anything about it and thinks he's relatively safe, is suddenly confronted with his archenemy...
