Umi-bouzo turns out to be a small crying child. Chibi scolds Aoi for not talking to Umi-bouzo as he is lonely and no one ever talks to him. Determined to make Umi-bouzo feel better Aoi lifts the screen, giving him a clear view and allowing everybody to see him. Aoi is given Tengu Alcohol and has a vision of Umi-bouzo trapped within the miasma, only allowed to leave his prison once a century...
