Rather than kill Bucciarati, Doppio helps him across the road to the Colosseum to find out who he is planning to meet. However, he spots Mista, and realizes that Bucciarati's team is nearby. The boss calls Doppio and tells him that Bucciarati is actually dead, without sight or hearing and that can only see souls, so he disguises Doppio as Trish to deceive Bucciarati. After they reach the Colosseum, Doppio and Bucciarati encounter Polnareff, who the boss recognizes. Polnareff recalls how years earlier, a young man had unearthed six Stand arrows in Egypt. Diavolo recalls keeping one arrow and selling the rest to Enyaba, then using the power of the Stand arrow to build his criminal organization.
