The story is told of how Masaki Taniguchi met his girlfriend Aya Orihata, after he was being bullied and she intervened. Aya appears to lack self-confidence, meanwhile Shinjirou Anou follows them, wondering what Masaki sees in Aya. Suddenly one night a Synthetic Human appears and wipes Shinjirou's memory and makes him a "terminal", a servant of the Towa Organization and he is instructed to enroll in the Shinyou Academy...
