Kondo, Okita, and Saito eventually found and retrieved Seimei from the bandits. Sleeping peacefully in his coffin, Seimei is on an airship to be transported back to Kyoto, but the ship catches fire and crashes. When three men arrive, they find themselves on Prison Gate Island, an artificial island in the middle of Lake Biwa where criminals and rebels are held. On the island, they find a mysterious man named Cobra Negra who saves them from the other criminals. The mysterious man is Shinsaku Takasugi in disguise, as he was dropped off on the island by Mugensai. Were the four able to resolve their differences, retrieve Seimei and escape the island?
